About Workwear is a trading name of Vernon du Preez Agencies (Registration No. 1996/015897/07, VAT No. 4880133477).
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use https://aboutworkwear.co.za/ if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Definitions
“Company,” “We,” “Our,” “Us” refers to About Workwear, a trading name of Vernon du Preez Agencies.
“Service” refers to the website and its functions, including e-commerce transactions.
“User,” “You” refers to the individual accessing or using the Service.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, About Workwear and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on https://aboutworkwear.co.za/. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this site for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
- Republish material from this site
- Sell, rent, or sub-license material from this site
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from this site
- Redistribute content from this site
3. User Account (If Applicable)
If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
5. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice before any new terms take effect.
Payment Policy
1. Accepted Payment Methods
All website orders are paid securely through PayFast, our payment gateway provider. PayFast accepts debit and credit card payments. We do not currently accept EFT, cash, or any other payment method through the website.
2. Pricing and VAT
All prices displayed on the website are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at the applicable rate during checkout.
3. Custom and Branded Orders
All orders involving branding, embroidery, printing, or any form of customisation must be paid in full before production commences. We do not offer part-payment or deposit options for branded orders placed through the website.
4. Account Customers
About Workwear offers approved account (credit) terms to qualifying corporate clients, subject to a credit check and minimum purchase criteria (currently a minimum annual spend of R100,000 across at least 6 orders per year). Account terms apply to direct corporate purchasing arrangements and are not available through the website checkout. Website orders must be paid in full via PayFast at the time of purchase.
5. Dispatch
Orders are processed and dispatched only once full payment has been received and cleared.
6. Billing Entity
All payments made through this website are processed on behalf of Vernon du Preez Agencies, trading as About Workwear.
Cancellation Policy
1. Before Artwork Approval
You may cancel your order at any time before approving the final artwork or branding proof. A full refund will be processed to your original payment method.
2. After Artwork Approval
Once you have approved the artwork or branding proof, your order is deemed to be in production. Orders cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be issued, from this point onward. We recommend reviewing all proofs carefully before approving them.
Returns and Refund Policy
Our Returns and Refund Policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase for eligible items. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer a full refund or exchange.
1. Eligibility for a Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it
- In the original packaging with all tags attached
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Non-returnable items include: custom-branded or personalised workwear items, and clearance/sale items. See our Cancellation Policy above for how branded orders are handled.
2. Returns Process
Contact us at sales@aboutworkwear.co.za or 012 661 5470 to request a return authorisation.
Mail your product to: Unit 1, Jurg Business Park, Hennopspark, Centurion. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
3. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method via PayFast within 14 business days.
Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your card provider, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at sales@aboutworkwear.co.za.
4. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied. To request an exchange, email sales@aboutworkwear.co.za and send your item to: Unit 1, Jurg Business Park, Hennopspark, Centurion.
Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at https://aboutworkwear.co.za/. The following terms and conditions constitute our Shipping Policy.
1. Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
3. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped, containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
4. Local Shipping
We ship to addresses within South Africa.
